Mat Abramsky joined Brockton Capital in December 2010 and has 7 years of experience.
At Brockton Capital, Mat has led or supported over £700 million in direct property and asset-backed corporate transactions including acquisition, debt capital financings, joint ventures and disposals. He has direct experience across office, retail, residential, data centre, pubs, student residential, and hospital sectors in the UK, US and Canada.
Prior to Brockton Capital, Mat managed a family development and asset management company in Ontario, Canada, specialising in the historic redevelopment of student residential and high street retail properties. During his graduate studies, he gained experience at Brookfield Properties’ Acquisition and Finance team in New York, and PN Hoffman, a regional Washington, DC-based developer.
Mat holds an MBA from the Wharton School, and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design. He also holds an Honours in Business Administration (HBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
