Dan joined Brockton Capital in 2014 and has 14 years of experience. Dan is a qualified solicitor and gained his initial experience working in all areas of real estate during 8 years at Clifford Chance, including investment, development, real estate finance and construction, and the structuring and formation of complex real estate funds and joint ventures. During his time at Clifford Chance, Dan was a trusted adviser to a broad client list including The Blackstone Group, GIC Real Estate, UBS, MetLife, Hammerson, and Allied London, advising on schemes with a GDV of over £2.5 billion.

In 2008, Dan joined Grantham Associates as a Director and since then has been intimately involved in overseeing and managing close to 1 million sq ft of prime residential and mixed-use projects with a GDV of c.£1.75 billion, including several of the Brockton Capital Fund I and Fund II investments. Dan’s legal background has provided a solid foundation to becoming a development principal and allows him to add significant value to the development process by not only leading any formal legal and corporate structuring and negotiation, but also formulating, implementing, and managing the off-site tools required to maintain a rigid design and cost control structure in order to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and completed his postgraduate training as a solicitor at The College of Law in London.
