Cookie Notice

Last Updated: 25 June 2018

www.brocktoncapital.com is a website (referred to as the “Site”) of Brockton Capital LLP ("we" "us", "our" or “Brockton Capital”). We use website tracking technologies (commonly known as "cookies"). This Cookies Notice explains how we use cookies. By using the Site you consent to receive the cookies set out below.

  1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. When you visit the website again, the cookie allows that site to recognise your browser. Cookies may store user preferences and other information. If you are concerned about having cookies on your computer or device, you can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being set, allowing you to decide whether to accept it. You can also delete cookies from your computer or device. However, if you choose to block or delete cookies, certain features of the Site may not operate correctly. Other technologies are used for similar purposes as a cookie on other platforms where cookies are not available or applicable.

  2. How does Brockton Capital use cookies?

We use "performance cookies" to track your visit to the Site, so that we can understand how many times the Site is visited and how popular certain pages are (i.e. the performance of the Site).

For this we use a third party service called Google Analytics operated by Google, Inc. Google Analytics sets cookies containing "tracking IDs" which are unique numbers that identify you to the Google Analytics servers (which may be based in multiple locations worldwide including the United States of America).

Google Analytics collects performance data such as which pages you visit, the number of pages you visit, and how long you spend on the Site. Google Analytics also collects technical information about your web browser, computer and internet connection (“Technical Information”). Google Analytics does not store your personal information except incidentally in circumstances where your Technical Information is classified as personal information (for example when your IP address can easily be used to reveal your identify – possible in some cases but not others).

Further information about Google Analytics' use of your data, including how to set your browser to refuse these cookies, can be found here: http://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html.

Certain performance cookies will be saved on your computer or device for up to two years following your last visit, in order to recognise your visits from time to time.

  3. How do I disable cookies?

You can remove cookies at any time by clearing these cookies from your browser. You can also set your browser to refuse to accept cookies. Refer to your browser's "Help" function for further details.

Further, in order to provide website visitors with more choice on how data is collected by Google Analytics, Google has developed the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The add-on communicates with the Google Analytics code on the Site to stop data being sent to the Google Analytics servers. The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on does not affect usage of the Site in any other way.

The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on is not provided by Brockton Capital and its use is subject to Google, Inc.'s terms of use. A link to further information on the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on is provided below for your convenience: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=None
